Prior to joining the Institute of Estate Agents, Vivien Marks worked in the property industry for many years as a director of a business specialising in rentals and management, both residential, commercial and industrial property as well as in sectional title. As general manager of the Institute of Estate Agents from 1996 for eleven years she vastly expanded their training programs and grew the membership from 750 to 2750. Her passion for property and the training thereof, remains unabated. Vivien has been a member of the government Rental HousingTribunal for the past four years, and holds regular courses on rentals. Vivien is registered with the SETQAA as a constituent Assessor and Moderator against the FETC: Real Estate (59097) 
Debbie Knipe worked for the Institute of Estate Agents for 17 years both as assistant general manager and functions co-ordinator. She specialized in human resources and labour regulations, has extensive general property knowledge and has a good understanding of the needs of estate agents. Debbie is registered with the SETQAA as a constituent Assessor and Moderator against the FETC: Real Estate (59097). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological Counselling (Cum Laude) UNISA. Debbie has facilitated successfully for RPL training in the Western Cape.
